Zuhura Othman Soud, popularly known as Zuchu, was born on November 22, 1993, in Zanzibar, Tanzania. She is one of the leading voices in Bongo Flava and Baibuda genres. Signed under WCB Wasafi, Zuchu burst onto the scene in 2020 with her debut EP, I Am Zuchu, which solidified her status as a rising star in East Africa. Her musical talent runs deep, as she is the daughter of the renowned Zanzibari Taarab musician, Khadija Kopa. Zuchu has quickly gained recognition for her powerful vocals and electrifying performances, making her one of the most influential female artists in the region.
