Bruce Elias Sanane, an emerging artist from Tanzania, is best known by his stage name Bruce Africa. His musical journey started at the age of 7, where he was a part of the church choir. At 15, he fell in love with the guitar, a passion he pursued with the guidance of his father. The guitar has since become his constant companion, both on and off the stage.

Bruce Africa took his passion for music to new heights by participating in the renowned Bongo Star Search (BSS 2019-2020, Season 11), where he reached the semi-finals. After the competition, he collaborated with Christian Bella’s group, CBO, before launching his independent music career in 2022 with the release of his first single, “In Love.” His hits like “Falling Down” and the smash hit “YOU” have made a significant impact in the Tanzanian music scene.
