Mercy Nnenda Chinwo, born on September 5, 1991, in Rivers State, Nigeria, is a renowned Nigerian gospel musician, singer, actress, and songwriter. She gained prominence as the winner of the second season of “Nigerian Idol” in 2012, which marked the beginning of her successful career in gospel music. Signed to EeZee Conceptz in 2017, Mercy has released several hit gospel songs and albums, solidifying her position in the Nigerian gospel music scene. Her notable singles include “Excess Love,” “Testimony,” and “Igwe.”

Mercy Chinwo’s musical journey began at the age of 6 in her church choir. She pursued her education at Goodwill International School and Paradise International School, later earning a degree in Human Resources Management from the International Business Management Institute (IBMI). Together, they established the MercyisBlessed Foundation, focusing on charitable work and youth development.
