Ali Saleh Kiba, known by his stage name Alikiba, is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava star, revered as one of East Africa’s most influential musicians. Born on November 29, 1986, in Kigoma, Tanzania, Alikiba has been a leading figure in the Bongo Flava genre, amassing a string of hits such as “Mwana,” “Aje,” “Chekecha Cheketua,” “Cinderella,” and many more. He is also the founder of Kings Music label and Crown Media Group, making significant strides in the music industry.

In 2008, Alikiba collaborated with international stars like R. Kelly in the One 8 project, further cementing his reputation on the global stage. After a brief hiatus, Alikiba returned in 2014 with the hit “Mwana,” which won him multiple awards at the 2015 Tanzania Music Awards. He has since continued to dominate the East African music scene, releasing a string of successful tracks and collaborating with top artists like P Square, Patoranking, Sauti Sol, and Sarkodie.
On March 10, 2024, Alikiba expanded his influence by launching Crown FM 92.1, a radio station broadcasting in Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Tanga, and Pwani.
