Juma Mussa Mkambala, better known as Jux, is one of Tanzania’s most prominent R&B singers and songwriters. Born on September 1, 1989, in Dar es Salaam, Jux has become one of East Africa’s biggest music stars. His career began in 2008 with A.M Records, and over the years, he has built a reputation for his smooth voice and romantic songs. Jux’s tracks like “Sugua”, “Juu”, and “Regina” have made him a household name across Africa.

Jux’s music combines elements of Afrobeat and R&B, creating a distinctive sound that resonates with fans across the continent. In addition to his musical career, he’s known for his fashion sense and launched his own clothing brand in 2018. He has received numerous accolades, including Best R&B Song at the Tanzania Music Awards and Best East African Music Video at the Zanzibar International Film Festival. His latest track “Si Mimi” is the lead single from his upcoming EP and showcases a deeply personal love story, capturing his wedding and engagement to Priscy.
