Namukwaya Hajara Diana, popularly known as Spice Diana, is a prominent Ugandan musician born in 1996. Raised by a single mother, Spice Diana grew up with a passion for music, starting her career in 2014 with the hit single “Onsanula.” Her breakthrough was marked by winning the Best Female Breakthrough Artist Award at the HiPipo Music Awards in 2015. Spice Diana’s musical journey includes significant hits like “Anti Kale,” “I Miss You,” and “Buteke.”

A Makerere University graduate with a Bachelor of Industrial Arts, Spice Diana balanced her academic pursuits with her growing music career. She has collaborated with local and international artists including Pallaso, Zuchu, Ray G, and Jamaican Orisha Sound. In 2016, she launched the Team Spice Diana Awards to celebrate her team’s efforts.
Despite facing challenges, such as a police incident in 2017 and health scares in 2022, Spice Diana has continued to thrive in the music industry. Her impressive list of singles includes “Bukete,” “Gwe Nsonga,” and “Bwereere,” showcasing her versatility and dedication to her craft.
