Abdul Juma Idd, better known as Lava Lava, was born on March 27, 1993, in Tanzania. A prominent figure in the Bongo Flava music scene, Lava Lava is signed under the WCB Wasafi record label. His journey in music began at Tanzania House of Talents (THT), and he gained significant recognition with hits such as “Saula,” “Nga’ring’ari,” “Habibi,” and “Jibebe.” Lava Lava’s distinct sound and Baibuda music style have solidified his place in Tanzanian music.

Lava Lava’s breakthrough came when he was officially signed to WCB Wasafi, a label owned by Diamond Platnumz. His first major release under Wasafi, “Tuachane,” came out on May 22, 2017. Since then, he has collaborated with top artists including Diamond Platnumz, Harmonize, Mbosso, and Rayvanny. His track “Wanga” gained international attention after American stars Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys shared it, leading to a remix.

“Far Away,” featuring Diamond Platnumz and produced by Lizer Classic, is a standout track from Lava Lava’s Promise EP. This song captures the essence of Bongo Flava with its catchy rhythm and heartfelt lyrics, showcasing the dynamic collaboration between Lava Lava and the renowned Diamond Platnumz.
