John Blaq, born Kasadha John on July 16, 1996, is a prominent Ugandan musician, songwriter, and performing artist. He began his education at Lwanda Primary School and Hasan Tourabi Primary School, where he completed his Primary Leaving Examination. He continued his studies at Bweyogerere Secondary School, earning both UCE and UACE certificates in 2016 and 2018, respectively.

John Blaq made his breakthrough in 2018 with the hit single “Tukwatagane,” which quickly gained popularity across Uganda and beyond. Following this success, he released “Sweet Love,” his first collaboration with Vinka, in December 2018. His debut concert, titled Aya Basi Concert, took place at Freedom City in Kampala on November 29, 2019, and was a significant milestone in his career.
